NSU recognized in top worldwide university rankings for international students

Northeastern State University recognized in top worldwide university rankings for international students, best value

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - Northeastern State University has ranked in the top 33% of universities worldwide in 2025, according to an annual report by StudyAbroadAide.com. The website is an online university rankings resource for international students. 

NSU earned this ranking based on StudyAbroadAide.com assessment of 8,536 higher education institutions across the globe. NSU also ranked in the top 22% of Best Value University Rankings 2025 by the website.

“NSU remains committed to providing a quality education and culturally-enriched environment for our students who hail from various corners of the globe,” NSU President Rodney Hanley, said. “At NSU we are dedicated to maintaining an environment where each student feels valued and supported as they navigate the university environment. We are proud that our dedication to excellence institution-wide has been recognized.”

According to StudyAbroadAide.com, to be considered a Best Value University, the institution must be accredited, offer both bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, have an official university website and have an updated list of tuition fees. 

In addition to those requirements, Best Value Universities must have affordable tuition fees and excellent academic reputations. Best Universities are ranked according to their academic reputation and international student body, which considers how many international students are enrolled at the university.
