Registration open for NSU SOAR program for incoming freshmen, transfer students

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State University’s Student Orientation, Advising and Registration program is accepting registrations for the Spring 2025 semester.

The SOAR program was created to assist first-time freshmen and incoming transfer students with a successful transition to college classes and life at NSU.

Attendees will spend the day establishing a sense of belonging on campus, meeting with other members of the RiverHawk community, including other incoming students, current students, faculty and staff. They will also have the opportunity to learn more about the offices, programs and departments at NSU that can support them.

Incoming students will also have time to meet with their advisor to plan and enroll in an appropriate class schedule.

There are two SOAR sessions for the Spring 2025 semester: Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024 and Friday, Dec. 6, 2024.

For additional information about the SOAR program, call the Office of Student Engagement and Transitions at 918-444-2526 or email soar@nsuok.edu.
