Nominations open for Alumni Association Awards

The Northeastern State University Alumni Association is seeking nominations for Distinguished Alumnus and Distinguished Young Alumnus.

The Distinguished Alumnus award is presented annually to a Northeastern alumnus who, through personal achievement and service, has brought honor and distinction to himself or herself and the university. The Distinguished Young Alumnus award is also annual and given to an NU alumnus who has had great personal achievement within their first 20 years after graduation.

Honorees are celebrated during Homecoming festivities and will be formally recognized during the Emerald Ball on Dec. 4.

Nominations should include nominee's name, address, year of graduation, home and work phone numbers and e-mail address. Nominators should provide their names, home phone numbers, for which award the nomination is being submitted and reasons why the nominee is deserving. Past winners of an award may not be nominated for it again. For a list of previous award winners, click here.
