Northeastern to Host Nursing Alumni Celebration

TAHLEQUAH The baccalaureate degree completion program for registered nurses at Northeastern State University will host an alumni celebration, pinning ceremony, and time capsule opening on May 8, in the Senator Herb Rozell Ballroom, University Center.

The festivities will begin with a buffet luncheon at noon, following the 9 a.m. college graduation at Doc Wadley Stadium. The 21st graduating class will hold a pinning ceremony at 1 p.m. A time capsule from the program's first graduating class in 1984 will be opened at 2 p.m. Various dignitaries and members from the first class will speak. Historical nursing memorabilia will be available for viewing.
