NSU announces Ovation Ceremony nominees

(Tahlequah, OK)--As part of Northeastern State University's Green-and-White Weekend, the 2010 Ovation Ceremony is April 24 at 10 a.m. in the University Center Sen. Herb Rozell Ballroom.

Sponsored by First Year Experience, the Alumni Association and Student Affairs, it recognizes NSU's outstanding seniors, freshmen and Hall of Fame recipients.

This year, 11 students will receive the Jack Kauffman Outstanding Senior Award, another 10 will be named Outstanding Freshmen and six Student Hall of Fame honorees.

NSU's Green-and-White Weekend, April 23-24, features ceremonies, gatherings and athletics. The Honors Assembly recognizing student achievement is Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the UC Rozell Ballroom and the Student Leadership Recognition Breakfast is at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday in the UC Morgan Room. The weekend also features the football team's annual Green-and-White Game at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Doc Wadley Stadium.
