(Tahlequah, Okla.) Rooms are still available with the Northeastern State University Alumni Associations accommodation package for the RiverHawks game against Texas-San Antonio on Sept. 3. Reservation deadline is July 28.

UTSA will field its first football team in school history and the RiverHawks are the Roadrunners first opponent. The game will be played in the Alamodome. The UTSA head coach is 1970 NSU alumnus Larry Coker, who coached the University of Miami to the 2001 Bowl Championship Series title.

Time is running out for fans to make their reservations, said Daniel Johnson, director of alumni services. UT-San Antonio is expecting a great turnout at the Alamodome and we want to make sure there are NSU fans in the crowd.

The Alumni Associations San Antonio Labor Day Get-Away Football Weekend is Sept. 2-5. Before and after game fans can enjoy the sights and sounds of San Antonios Riverwalk, tour the Alamo and shop the outlet malls.

While the travel package including train tickets is sold out, there are still hotel reservations available through the Alumni Associations accommodation package which includes room, game tickets, attendance to the pre-game reception and a commemorative T-shirt. Double occupancy is $375, or $325 for association members. Quadruple occupancy is $250 or $200. Discounts are also available for children 2-15 years of age. Purchasers must make their own travel arrangements.

We look forward to sharing this great experience with our alumni and RiverHawk fans, Johnson said. We encourage anyone who can make the trip to attend this historic football game and show their support for the Green and White.

For those arranging their own accommodations, the Alumni Association is offering a $20 game package which includes a ticket, T-shirt and attendance to the pre-game reception.
