Public Invited to Annual 'Puttin Down Roots at NSU

TAHLEQUAH Show your Redmen pride and join the Northeastern State University community for the annual Puttin' Down Roots at NSU event on Wednesday, November 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sponsored by the NSU Campus Environment Committee, the event is an opportunity for students, faculty, staff, administrators, and the community to help beautify the NSU Tahlequah campus.

Volunteers can check in at the Gazebo in the center of the NSU campus to be assigned to a work group. Participants will be planting bulbs, small trees, transplanting flowers & shrubs, cleaning up the grounds, and participating in overall aesthetic improvements to the campus. Volunteers can relax and enjoy festivities, music, and refreshments following the outdoor clean-up.
