NSU President Don Betz said Glenn-Summitt brings a unique blend of qualities to excel in the directorships.
"She brings excellent experiences managing large, complex non-profit programs to this position, and her success as an attorney also speaks to her clarity of thinking," Betz said. "Coupled with her grassroots fund-raising experience and public speaking activities, she will make an immediate impact. As an alumna, she brings an extraordinary passion for NSU, and that adds a dimension to her conversations with alumni and friends that will make a real difference in their commitment to giving."
Mark Kinders, vice president of university relations, said Glenn-Summitt was the right choice to continue the work of the NSU Foundation.
"Were excited to have Peggy join us as the leader of a talented group of professionals who have performed well in advancing NSU," Kinders said. "She will take us to the next level of realizing our long-term institutional goals of friend-raising and fund-raising to achieve an unparalled margin of excellence."
