NSU Education and Teacher Fair is March 23

(Tahlequah, OK)--To help students and alumni confidently market their education, skills and experiences, Career Services at Northeastern State University will host its annual Education and Teacher Fair on March 23 in the University Center's Herb Rozell Ballroom.
The open forum, running 10-11:30 a.m., gives attendees the opportunity to meet with school administrators and discuss future employment possibilities. Graduate schools will also attend to assist students and answer questions about entrance requirements and application processes.
The NSU College of Education is Oklahomas largest education program offering high quality faculty and program content to transform the candidates to professional teaching scholars, educational leaders, and developers of human potential.
This year, NSUs College of Education will graduate 182 well-trained and experienced future teachers. Of these 99 are qualified in elementary education, 32 in early childhood education, 12 each in social studies and special education, 10 in English, five each in math and science, four in health and physical education and one each in art and communications.
Schools and organizations registered to attend the fair as of Feb. 18 are:
Abilene ISD, Bartlesville Public Schools, Broken Arrow Public Schools, Cherokee Nation, Guymon Public Schools, Network of International Christian Schools, North Texas Teacher Job Network, Northeastern State University Graduate College, OSU-Tulsa Graduate Services, Peace Academy, Professional Oklahoma Educators, Ponca City Public Schools, Putnam City Public Schools, Sapulpa Public Schools, Tahlequah Public Schools, Tri-County Interlocal #607, Wichita Public Schools and Union Public Schools.
