NSU Hosts Teachers' Dialog for Support

TAHLEQUAH Northeastern State University and the Association for Childhood Education International, invite area educators to the Teachers' Dialog for Support: No Teacher Left Behind Conference to be held October 4 on the NSU-Muskogee campus. The conference will focus on networking among educators. Topics include standardize testing, reader's workshops, integrating the curriculum, and how to deal with inclusions. Conference break-out sessions will target writer's workshops, literature circles, and No Child Left Behind. Staff development certificates will be available for all participants.

Dorothy Watson, professor emeriti of Curriculum & Instruction at the University of Missouri-Columbia, will be the keynote speaker for the event. Watson was the 2002 National Council of Teachers of English Recipient of the Outstanding Educator in the English Language Arts Award.
