NSU Offers Free Veterans Legal Clinic

Published: 2010-02-01

Northeastern State Universitys Criminal Justice and Legal Studies Department will begin operation of a free legal clinic Feb. 1 for veterans on the Tahlequah and Broken Arrow campuses.

Office hours for Tahlequah are Mondays 1-2:30 p.m. in Seminary Hall, Room 337, and in Broken Arrow on Wednesdays 3-4:30 p.m. in Building G, Room 156.

Department chair Dr. Cari Keller and assistant professor Dr. David Madden will offer free legal advice on a range of issues for veterans at the locations. Students majoring in legal studies will assist the professors. This effort is the result of a Learning Services project submitted by Dr. Keller. For more information, contact Dr. Keller on the Tahlequah campus at 918-444-3514, or Dr. Madden on the Broken Arrow campus at 918-449-6545.
