MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Northeastern State University will hold a community health fair on the NSU Muskogee campus on April 25 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The campus is home to several programs within the Gregg Wadley College of Science & Health Professions, including Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Nursing, Speech-Language Pathology, Master of Public Health and Nutritional Sciences.

“The purpose of this event is to introduce the community to the programs we have available at NSU Muskogee and to provide a free service to the public,” Dr. Sydney Dorrough, associate dean for the Gregg Wadley College of Science & Health Professions, said. “We look forward to seeing everyone. This is an opportunity for our students to receive hands-on learning opportunities and interact with the Muskogee community.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to receive a CarFit assessment, a balance assessment, an auditory screening, a body composition analysis or bioimpedance screening, as well as vital checks performed by the nursing program. Information booths on dementia and public health will also be on site. The Muskogee Police and Fire Department will also be in attendance.
