NSU to host Native Strong American Indian recruitment event – Jan. 26

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Northeastern State University is hosting its annual Native Strong Day - American Indian recruitment event on Jan. 26.

This annual event helps Native students planning to enter NSU as freshmen or transfer students navigate through the enrollment process, as well as reveals the extraordinary culture and environment NSU offers.

“A leader in American Indian education since 1851, NSU welcomes the opportunity to show American Indian prospective students and their families how they can enhance their academic experience in a supportive environment that values their cultural heritage,” NSU President Rodney Hanley said.

During the event, students will gather valuable information from Admissions, Scholarships and Financial Aid, meet representatives from Native student organizations, learn about NSU’s Native student support programs and participate in hands-on cultural activities.
