TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Northeastern State University will welcome prospective students and their families to campus for its annual RiverHawk Rally College Preview Day on Nov. 8.

The fall preview event is designed for high school juniors, seniors and transfer students who want to explore their future at NSU. Participants can enjoy a free NSU T-shirt, lunch, scholarship opportunities and giveaways, along with tailgating and free admission to the NSU football game between the RiverHawks and the Lincoln Missouri Blue Tigers.

“RiverHawk Rally is a great opportunity for high school and transfer students to experience NSU and explore the many exceptional programs we offer. This exciting event highlights everything that makes NSU a special place to call home,” Brian Manley, director of Admissions and Recruitment, said. “During the rally, prospective students and their guests can connect with our faculty and staff while discovering the unique academic and campus experiences that set NSU apart.”

Throughout the day, participants can meet professors to learn about academic programs, tour campus, and connect with current students representing more than 100 student organizations and clubs. Presentations from financial aid, admissions and student life will also help families prepare for a smooth transition to college.

“Northeastern State University is a place where students find opportunity, belonging and purpose,” NSU President Rodney Hanley said. “RiverHawk Rally gives future RiverHawks the chance to see how NSU’s supportive community, strong academics and vibrant traditions come together to help every student succeed.”
