BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Northeastern State University Broken Arrow will spotlight young artists this spring with two vibrant student art exhibitions featuring work from the Catholic Diocese of Tulsa and Broken Arrow Public Schools.
The first exhibit, showcasing student artwork from the Catholic Diocese of Tulsa, will be on display throughout February in the Visitor’s Center Gallery of the Administrative Services Building on the NSUBA campus. The Catholic Diocese of Tulsa encompasses 13 schools across northeastern Oklahoma, from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The exhibition presents a diverse array of student artwork, ranging from pieces created by young children to more sophisticated works by high school students.
This annual art show has been a tradition for more than 25 years. The exhibit is free and open to the public from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays. The exhibit closes on Friday, Feb. 28, with a closing reception on March 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the NSU-Broken Arrow Campus, Administration Building, 3100 New Orleans St., Broken Arrow, OK 74014.
Following this, the Broken Arrow Public Schools All-District Art Show will run from Monday, April 7, to Friday, April 18, featuring student artwork displayed in every building on the Broken Arrow campus during the same hours.
