Northeastern State University to reschedule RiverHawk Jam/Spring Preview Day for March 27
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Due to the varied driving conditions paired with extended sub-freezing temperatures, Northeastern State University will reschedule its annual RiverHawk Jam event to March 27.
The event, originally set for Feb. 22, will offer a preview of what life is like on the NSU campus to future students and their guests.
RiverHawk Jam was created to offer individuals who are interested in attending NSU, an opportunity to explore a variety of majors and career possibilities. Attendees will tour the campus—visiting two residence halls and the NSU fitness center, as well as attend a student organization and academic college fair where they can engage with student leaders and meet with on-campus student organizations.
Attendees will receive a free lunch, a T-shirt and will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win NSU swag, tuition waivers and bookstore vouchers.
Check-in and on-site registration for the event will begin at 9 a.m., with the Welcome taking place at 10 a.m.
Parking will be available in the parking lot between the John Vaughan Library and Seminary Suites. Shuttles will be available to transport event participants to and from the event.
