NSU-Broken Arrow to host 2025 Community Partner Fair for Educators
BROKEN ARROW, Okla. –Northeastern State University will support teachers and education professionals by hosting the 2025 Community Partner Fair for Educators on Nov. 1.
The event brings together teachers and community organizations for an opportunity to connect, share ideas, and inspire collaboration. The fair is open to anyone interested in education or learning more about local nonprofit initiatives.
“The event is designed to foster collaboration and raise awareness of the many partners working together to provide the best possible education for K–12 students,” Katie Fox, director of the RiverHawk Center for Teacher Excellence, said.
NSU’s RiverHawk CTE is partnering with several local and statewide organizations, including Ag in the Classroom, the Learning Zoo, the Tulsa Health Department and Tulsa County Parks. Attendees will learn about field trip opportunities, classroom resources, grants, lesson plans and more.
Zoo Safari USA will provide educational animal presentations and light refreshments, including treats from Sugar Llamas. Five exclusive NSU canvas bags will also be given away at the end of the fair.
“Events like this highlight NSU’s commitment to supporting educators and building stronger connections in our community,” NSU President Rodney Hanley said. “When teachers have access to resources and partnerships, our students—and our community—benefit.”
The Community Partner Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on the first floor of the Education Building at the NSU–Broken Arrow campus. The event is free and open to the public, with registration closing Oct. 31.
