NSUBA to shine bright at annual Gazebo Glow & Holiday Festival

NSU-Broken Arrow to shine bright at annual Gazebo Glow & Holiday Festival

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The holidays are glowing bright at Northeastern State University–Broken Arrow, where the campus will host a Gazebo Glow & Holiday Festival on Dec. 11.

The family-friendly event will combine festive fun with a look at what’s ahead for the campus as it expands its academic offerings in January 2026 to serve every stage of learning — from freshman to graduate studies.

“Gazebo Glow is a chance to cultivate a deeper connection between the university and a community that has stood by NSU for several decades. Broken Arrow has continually shown its support for NSU in many ways. It is an opportunity to step into a new era together with hopeful anticipation and bold visions of what this partnership can achieve for future generations of this community,” Dr. Eruore Hopkins, Director of Operations & Community Relations, said.

Festivities will begin at 3:30 p.m. with campus tours, offering a preview of academic programs and state-of-the-art spaces that will soon welcome first-year students. At 4:30 p.m., the celebration continues with vendor booths, a student organization fair and Student and Academic Affairs tabling, where guests can meet NSU faculty, staff and students. Visitors can also enjoy local vendors and festive activities throughout campus.

The lighting of the NSU Gazebo at 5 p.m. will officially kick off the evening’s entertainment, followed by guest speakers and performances by local choirs. As night falls, attendees can enjoy a drone light show and a special appearance from Santa Claus.

“At NSU, we believe in the power of community and connection,” NSU President Rodney Hanley said. “The Gazebo Glow & Holiday Festival reflects that spirit — it’s a time to celebrate the season, our growing campus, and the people who make NSU-Broken Arrow such a vibrant place to learn and belong.”

The Gazebo Glow & Holiday Festival is free and open to the public on the Gazebo Lawn at NSU-Broken Arrow.
