TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Northeastern State University is launching a road show for the Reach Higher Reconnect program which provides working adults with the opportunity to complete their higher education goals—online.

The roadshow will travel to local communities in Tahlequah, Muskogee and Broken Arrow throughout June, allowing individuals to explore Reach Higher opportunities that are available at NSU.

“The Reach Higher program is another way NSU continues to provide supportive pathways for working adults,” NSU President Rodney Hanley said. “The road show reflects our commitment to meet individuals where they are and to help them achieve their educational and professional goals.”

The Reach Higher Reconnect program allows adults who have completed some college credits, the opportunity to complete their degree and receive a bachelor of science in organizational leadership.

“The Reach Higher program is unique in that it was designed to meet the needs of working adults offering a flexible and affordable way to finish what they started,” Michelle Farris, NSU Coordinator of Adult Degree Completion and Reach Higher Coordinator, said. “A dedicated program coordinator will be there every step of the way offering admission assistance, advisement and success coaching.”

To qualify, individuals must be at least 21 years old, have 60 hours of prior college credit or an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree from an Oklahoma state institution or equivalent, and have had a minimum 2.0 GPA in past college work. Scholarships are available.
