NSU ‘Reach Higher’ with virtual Reconnect event - June 18

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State University will host a virtual Reconnect event for the Reach Higher Reconnect program from 1-7 p.m. on June 18. The event will offer working adults an opportunity to explore how they can achieve their professional goals through education.

The Reach Higher initiative offers two pathways for adult learners who have completed some college credit to finish a degree.

The FlexFinish pathway allows adult learners to earn a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership completely online. 

“NSU is launching a second Reach Higher program for working adults this fall, DirectComplete, which is designed for adults age 25 or older who are pursuing majors that align with Oklahoma's Critical Occupations list,” Michelle Farris, NSU adult degree completion coordinator, said. “Adult learners who qualify for this program will be eligible to apply for the Reach Higher Finish Line Scholarship and receive an extra layer of support in advising and coaching.”

During the event, advisors will be available to share information about each program and help participants create personalized degree completion plans that will allow them to balance competing responsibilities like work and family life. 

Financial assistance and scholarships are available to students who are eligible.
