NSU Summer Bridge Program to offer college prep courses for incoming freshmen
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Northeastern State University will offer online math courses June 3 -7 as part of its Summer Bridge Program that offers immersive, non-credit college prep for incoming freshmen.
The Summer Bridge Program allows students to take non-credit residual classes before enrolling in credit-bearing courses for the fall semester.
“The Summer Bridge Program is a great resource for incoming freshmen to ensure they are prepared for the academic challenges of university life,” NSU President Rodney Hanley said.
The program provides a combination of coursework, tutoring and personal development activities to improve the skills of students and help them feel connected to the NSU community. Students are also able to re-test at the end of the program, with the goal of placing out of non-credit courses.
A separate, in-person session of the program will run from July 29 – August 2. Housing and meal plans will be available.
