Jam with the VIPs! NSU to host VIP Junior Day and RiverHawk Jam - March 27

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State University will hold its annual VIP Junior Day and RiverHawk Jam events on March 27. The events let potential students get a glimpse of their future at NSU.

Potential NSU students are in for a treat this year as they get to experience VIP Junior Day and RiverHawk Jam at the same time. Check-in and on-site registration will begin at 9 a.m. in the University Center on the Tahlequah campus.

Parking will be available to attendees in the parking lot between the Webb Building and The Fitness Center (FIT). Additionally, transportation shuttles will be provided to and from the event. Attendees will also be provided with a free lunch at the Market Café.

Programming will last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students will learn about the college search process, NSU scholarships and will have the opportunity to meet with university faculty. Visitors will be able to tour residence halls and the NSU Fitness Center. They will be offered information on NSU’s majors and career options. Individuals will also attend the student organization and academic college fair where they can learn more about the various student-led organizations and find their place on-campus.

Attendees will receive a free T-shirt and be entered into a drawing for a chance to win NSU swag, bookstore vouchers and tuition waivers. Those who submit their application to NSU that day will receive a discount code to waive their application fee.
