NSU ranked among Best Value University for international students 2024

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - Northeastern State University has received recognition as one of the best value universities for international students. According to an annual report by StudyAbroadAide.com.

NSU was listed on the website’s World Best Value University Rankings for International Students list and was in the top four universities in Oklahoma that made this year’s ranking.

“At NSU, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where international students can thrive academically and personally,” NSU President Rodney Hanley said. “These rankings are testament tto our commitment to providing an affordable, high-quality education for students.”

According to StudyAbroadAide, to be considered a Best Value University, the institution must be accredited, offer both bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, have an official university website and an updated list of tuition fees. In addition to those requirements, Best Value Universities must have affordable tuition fees and excellent academic reputations.

“We are excited by these rankings showing that NSU is a great option for international students who want to study in the United States,” Dr. Carla Swearingen, NSU Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, said. “Our campus is filled with diverse faculty, staff and students who work hard to ensure that everyone feels valued and accepted.
