NSU Oklahoma College of Optometry to hold Fall Fashion Eyewear Event Oct. 28

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State University’s College of Optometry (NSUOCO) is hosting its Fall Fashion Eyewear event on Oct. 28.

NSUOCO is opening its doors for the event and inviting visitors to browse a selection of new and stylish eyeglass frames.

Attendees can take advantage of special frame pricing and browse designer brands such as Steve Madden, Vera Wang, IZOD and more. The event will also feature several eyewear giveaways.

Dr. Alan McKee, professor of Optometry, said the event and other NSUOCO events offer benefits for students, staff and the community.

“Our hope with these events is to get people more familiar with NSU’s optical resources,” said McKee. “Students and staff get a good deal on frames year-round, but the community can also get luxury brands for affordable prices through these events.”

The event will be held at the NSU College of Optometry building, 870 E. Crafton St., Tahlequah, from 4 to 6 p.m.

NSU President Rodney Hanley said events like this reflect the university’s commitment to serving the surrounding community.

“NSU is proud to make quality, affordable resources available to the communities we serve,” said Hanley. “Events like this give people another opportunity to connect with our College of Optometry and take advantage of the services it offers.”
