NSU online MBA ranked No. 1 in Oklahoma for affordability, No. 7 nationally

Northeastern State University online MBA ranked No. 1 in Oklahoma for affordability, No. 7 nationally

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State University's (NSU) online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program has been ranked No. 1 in Oklahoma for affordability and No. 7 nationally by OnlineU.com.

Among 15 institutions evaluated, NSU earned the No. 1 affordability ranking in Oklahoma and ranked No. 7 nationally. Rankings were based on annual in-state and out-of-state tuition costs, recognizing NSU for providing affordable graduate business education regardless of residency.

The fully online MBA is designed for working professionals to advance their careers while earning a graduate degree, allowing many students to complete the program in fewer than two years.

Dr. Courtney Hamby, assistant professor and director of graduate business programs, said affordability helps motivate students to pursue graduate education without excessive financial burden.

"Affordability should never come at the expense of quality," Hamby said. "By keeping our MBA program affordable, we hope to remove barriers that might otherwise prevent working professionals, first-generation students and place-bound learners from advancing their education and careers."

The MBA curriculum emphasizes applied learning through case studies, real-world projects and faculty expertise, preparing graduates to meet the evolving needs of today's business environment.

NSU's MBA program is currently accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. The program is also pursuing accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), one of the most widely recognized standards of excellence in business education.

NSU President Rodney Hanley said the recognition is a reflection of the university's mission to provide accessible and affordable graduate education.

"Quality education shouldn't be limited by cost," Hanley said. "This recognition reflects NSU's commitment to providing affordable graduate education that prepares future business leaders while removing financial barriers for working professionals."
