NSU-Broken Arrow to host RiverHawk Transfer Day 2026

NSU-Broken Arrow to host RiverHawk Transfer Day 2026

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Northeastern State University (NSU) will host RiverHawk Transfer Day on April 2, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the NSU-Broken Arrow Campus. The event is designed to help prospective transfer students explore academic opportunities, connect with advisors and take the next step towards earning their degree.

“We believe that every student’s path to a degree is unique at Northeastern State University, and our mission is to ensure that path is as seamless as possible,” NSU President Rodney Hanley said. “RiverHawk Transfer Day is about more than just paperwork; it’s about opening doors to new opportunities and providing the community and support students need to turn their academic goals into reality.”

Students attending RiverHawk Transfer Day will have the opportunity to learn more about financial aid and scholarship opportunities, meet with academic advisors to explore degree programs and develop a personalized transfer plan.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a copy of their transcript for an on-site evaluation. The event also includes a guided campus tour to help students get familiar with classrooms, facilities and student services.

“RiverHawk Transfer Day is designed to make the transition to Northeastern State University as smooth and supportive as possible for students coming from other colleges," Director of Admissions and Recruitment Brian Manley said.

“The event gives prospective transfer students the opportunity to connect directly with academic advisors, learn about programs that align with their career goals, and understand how their previously earned credits fit into their degree plan. We recognize that transfer students bring valuable experience with them, and our goal is to help them build on that foundation.”

The event is free and open to all transfer students. For more information or to register, visit nsuok.edu/BATransferDay or call 918-449-6138.
