Northeastern State University Commencement

NSU is planning the Spring 2026 Commencement exercises for ourspring and summer 2026 graduates. Each ceremony will recognize bachelor's and master's degree candidates from the designated college listed below.

NSU will live stream the commencement ceremonies so family and friends who are unable to attend can still be involved. More information concerning live streaming and video recordings will be posted on the Commencement website when available.

Graduates with Special Needs

• If you need special assistance, please contact Alexis Bowers at harri130@nsuok.edu no later than Monday, April 27, 2026, so arrangements may be made.

Guests with Special Needs

• An elevator is available to transport guests in wheelchairs to accessible seating on the mezzanine level. For those with limited mobility (i.e. walkers, canes, elderly) seating is available on the ground floor through the main glass doors in the center of the arena. Each limited mobility guest may be accompanied by 1 other guest.

All graduation regalia will be available to purchase in person at either campus bookstore from  3/23/2026 - 5/9/2026.

Regalia is sized by height so there is nothing to pre-order.

The ONLINE ORDERING DEADLINE for shipping is Fri. 4/10/2026.

Note: When you purchase your regalia from the HJ website you only have the option to purchase in a bundle (cap/gown/tassel; cap/gown/tassel/hood).

If you would like to buy regalia as separate items, you may do so from either campus bookstore.

Regalia, graduation announcements, frames, and class rings are all available to purchase through our Herff Jones site.

G.P.A. honor cords will have to be purchased at the bookstore or at your graduation ceremony.

Honor cord eligibility will be verified using the graduate list provided by the university.

Genesee Photography will be taking your pictures throughout the ceremony. Pre-register using the link below or by scanning the QR code. They will communicate directly with you regarding your photos.
