Northeastern State University Commencement
SPRING 2025 COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES
NSU is planning the Spring 2025 Commencement exercises for our spring and summer 2025 graduates. Each ceremony will recognize bachelor's and master's degree candidates from the designated college listed below.
NSU will live stream the commencement ceremonies so family and friends who are unable to attend can still be involved. More information concerning live streaming and video recordings will be posted on the Commencement website when available.
NSU Center for Performing Arts, Tahlequah

- 4:00 p.m. – Oklahoma College of Optometry
NSU Event Center, Tahlequah
- Friday, May 9
- 6:30 p.m. – Gregg Wadley College of Science and Health Professions
- Saturday, May 10
- 9:30 a.m. – College of Education
- 1:30 p.m. – College of Business and Technology & College of Liberal Arts
ORU Mabee Center, Tulsa
- Monday, May 12
- 6:30 p.m. – All Colleges

Graduates with Special Needs
- If you need special assistance, please contact Alexis Harris at harri130@nsuok.edu no later than Monday, April 28, 2025, so arrangements may be made.
Guests with Special Needs
- An area is available for guests with limited mobility (i.e., wheelchairs, walkers, canes, elderly) along with one accompanying guest. Additional seating is available nearby on a first-come-first-served basis.

REGALIA AND DRESS INSTRUCTIONS
Cap and Gown Purchasing Information
All graduation regalia will be available to purchase in person at either campus bookstore from 3/26/2025 - 5/10/2025.
Regalia is sized by height so there is nothing to pre-order.
If you want to have your regalia shipped, you can order online at:

The ORDERING DEADLINE for shipping is MONDAY 4/14/2025
Note: When you purchase your regalia from the HJ website you only have the option to purchase in a bundle (cap/gown/tassel; cap/gown/tassel/hood).
If you would like to buy regalia as separate items, you may do so from either campus bookstore.
Regalia, graduation announcements, frames, and class rings are all available to purchase through our Herff Jones site.
G.P.A. honor cords will have to be purchased at the bookstore or at your graduation ceremony.
Honor cord eligibility will be verified using the graduate list provided by the university.
Graduation Photos
Genesee Photography will be taking your pictures throughout the ceremony. They will communicate directly with you regarding your photos. You will have an opportunity to pre-register with them so you don't miss out on any updates. A QR Code for pre-registering will be sent out via email before commencement.
