Video Metadata for Web Schemas
Leave this section unchanged. This area is intended for higher-level content managers.
The Video Metadata section is used to add structured information about videos embedded on a page. This metadata helps search engines better understand video content and can improve how videos appear in search results.
Video metadata should only be completed when a page includes a video.
IMPORTANT: Most content managers will not need to use Video Metadata regularly. When required, follow guidance from the Web Communications team to ensure information is entered correctly.

When to Use Video Metadata
Use this section if your page includes:
- An embedded video
- A featured video as part of the page content
If the page does not contain a video, this section can be left blank.
What Video Metadata Does
- Provides additional context about video content
- Helps search engines interpret and index videos
- Supports enhanced search result features (when applicable)
Important Notes
- Only enter accurate information that matches the video on the page
- Do not add video metadata if no video is present
